Preschoolers (3-4 years old)

The curriculum content at River School for preschoolers is comprehensive, covering all key areas; literacy, mathematics, science, social-emotional development, physical development and the arts. River School provides an environment where children are encouraged to explore and be curious, feel safe and loved, discuss conflicts and negotiate with their peers. They begin to explore the world outside by taking field trips and inviting in guests who share information, ideas and points of view on a variety of subjects. The children also have an opportunity to participate in many special seasonal activities such as soccer, tennis, swimming, theatrical performances and family gatherings.
