About River School

River School is an all day nursery school that was founded by Dr. Richard Kresch, a child psychiatrist. Since 1989, River School has been providing quality child care for children, ages 2 months to 6 years. River School has established a developmentally appropriate approach to early education through programs that offer intellectually challenging experiences, a love of learning and many opportunities to develop social relationships. From the moment you enter our school, its unique atmosphere is evident. You will see artwork and photographs, and everywhere, children and teachers laughing and smiling with each other. At River School, we have created an environment where learning is a process – a series of experiences beginning the very first moment your child enters River School, whether at 2 months or 6 years!
